Hutton Electric, Heating & Air is seeking a Residential Electrician Estimator / Project Manager who can help homeowners solve problems, improve safety, and plan electrical upgrades.

This role is perfect for an experienced electrician who enjoys meeting with homeowners, designing solutions, and closing projects .

You will evaluate electrical systems, present upgrade options, and manage projects from estimate to completion .

This is not a desk-only estimator job .
You will be in the field helping customers make smart decisions about their home’s electrical safety and modernization.

What You'll Do

• Meet with homeowners to evaluate electrical systems and concerns
• Perform comprehensive electrical safety inspections
• Identify opportunities for safety upgrades and improvements
• Create and present multiple solution options for customers
• Estimate residential electrical projects including:

• Panel upgrades

• Whole home surge protection

• EV charger installation

• Generator installation

• Lighting upgrades

• Circuit additions

• Home rewiring

• Electrical safety corrections

• Manage projects from sale through completion
• Coordinate with technicians and installation teams
• Maintain strong communication with customers throughout projects

The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

✔ Understands residential electrical systems deeply
✔ Enjoys helping homeowners solve problems
✔ Can clearly explain electrical issues in simple terms
✔ Is comfortable presenting options and pricing
✔ Takes pride in safety and craftsmanship
✔ Can manage multiple projects at once
✔ Has extensive experience estimating and selling electrical work

Requirements

• 5+ years residential electrical experience
• Strong understanding of NEC and residential systems
• Experience estimating or quoting electrical work
• Excellent communication skills
• Organized and detail oriented
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred but not required:

• Previous project management experience
• Sales or service in an Electrician background
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar software
