Construction Safety Manager
Location: Fredericksburg, VA
Duration: 8 Months (Start: Immediate Need)
Type: 1099 Contractor

We are seeking an experienced bilingual Construction Safety Manager , fluent in both Spanish and English, to oversee safety operations for our client in Fredericksburg, VA. Job Details

• Hourly Rate: $58/hr

• Per Diem: None

• Completion Bonus: $150/month

• Pay: Weekly

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift | 40 hrs/week

Project Scope
Oversee the safety of the wall subcontractor on a new construction project. Duties include:

• Rigging

• Scissor lift operation

• Fall protection enforcement

• Work on stilts

• Boom lift and crane/hoist operation

Qualifications

• OSHA 510 (required)

• BCSP certification preferred (CHST, STSC, etc.)

• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct project safety inspections and new hire orientations

• Deliver site-specific safety training

• Monitor on-site personnel and enforce safety standards

• Manage safety documentation and contractor correspondence

• Execute additional EHS duties as needed

Skills & Knowledge
Skills:

• Strong communication and public speaking

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Effective organizational and multitasking capabilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• OSHA outreach training experience (preferred)

• Professionalism and discretion with sensitive information

Knowledge:

• In-depth understanding of EHS and construction industry regulations

• Ability to clearly communicate safety protocols and ensure compliance
