Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, complete routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support daily operations through teamwork, reliability, integrity, and an agile approach that helps create a welcoming environment for tenants, guests, and staff.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting them through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support property rules related to building access, deliveries, and after-hours activity.
- Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, property management, tenants, and/or emergency services as needed regarding incidents, operational concerns, and security-related issues at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
