Warehouse Driver / Warehouse Associate

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

Location: Hampton, VA

Overview

We're seeking a reliable Warehouse Driver to join our team in Hampton, VA. This position combines warehouse operations with local deliveries, supporting customers and suppliers throughout the area. Approximately 70% of the role involves driving a company box truck for local deliveries and pickups within a 30-mile radius, while the remaining time is spent assisting with warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a company box truck for local deliveries and pickups
• Load, unload, and secure materials for transport
• Obtain customer signatures and maintain delivery documentation
• Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming inventory
• Pull, verify, and prepare customer orders for shipment or delivery
• Operate a forklift to move and store materials
• Label, palletize, and organize products within the warehouse
• Coordinate UPS, freight, and courier shipments
• Report vehicle maintenance concerns, inventory discrepancies, or damaged materials
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and vehicle
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups
• Perform other warehouse and logistics duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or industrial supply experience
• Forklift experience (certification preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical warehouse work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Solid customer service and communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Regular loading and unloading of trucks and warehouse inventory
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and delivery vehicles

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hampton, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
