This 391-bed facility serves Central Virginia for over 50 years and is recognized for excellence in cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and emergency medicine. The hospital is undergoing a $370 million expansion, including a new critical care tower, to be completed in 2028. The facility maintains modern equipment and experienced support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes for comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services.

About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services through day shift clinic coverage and 24-hour weekend call responsibilities. Primary duties include delivering full scope women‘s health care during clinic hours with continuous availability for emergency obstetric cases. The position requires board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology with prescriptive authority for optimal patient care delivery. Documentation must be maintained through electronic medical record systems while ensuring continuous coverage for all obstetric and gynecologic needs.
