Unit Highlights

2 Bles is an 18-bed Hematology/Oncology/Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit. Clinical nurses on 2 Bles provide expert care for acutely ill hematology and oncology patients, with a focus on blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Medstar Georgetown University Hospital is FACT accredited for autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants and cellular therapies such as CAR T and TIL therapy. Patients receiving these treatments are cared for on 2 Bles by nurses with specialized training in oncology and hematology.

The nurses on 2 Bles are committed to cura personalis, care for the whole person, and actively involve families in the care of their patients throughout all stages of treatment.

Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide skilled, compassionate care to patients and families across a spectrum of needs—from routine to highly complex. You will assess evolving patient conditions, identify actual and potential health concerns, and develop appropriate care plans. Interventions may be delivered directly or coordinated through collaboration with other members of the nursing team .

Schedule

36 hours per week, 3-12 hours shifts, Day/Night rotation and rotation to weekends

Qualifications

• ADN, BSN, MSN, or CNL from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Prior Clinical Nursing Experience preferred.
• Active DC RN License and Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers required (AHA or American Red Cross).

This position has a hiring range of : USD $41.77 - USD $63.66 /Hr.
