Die Maintenance Tech
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Die Maintenance Technician to join our team in Roanoke, VA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our die equipment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on dies and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with dies, making necessary adjustments and repairs.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the design and implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during maintenance activities.
- Keep work area clean and organized, promoting a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in die maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with die design, fabrication, and maintenance processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands.
