Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday (7:00AM-3:45PM)

HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
As an Inventory Control Technician you’ll play a vital role in advancing our mission. In this position, you’ll be responsible for providing quality inventory services of donor raw materials, including quality inspection/receipt of incoming donors, management/storage of donors in ultra-low freezers and periodic cycle counting. Processes transfers of donors to production, including quality inspection and proper storage for transportation. Responsible for managing a large fleet of ultra-low freezers to ensure proper storage of donors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Inventory Processing: Verifies and inspects incoming materials against packing slips or purchase
    orders, ensuring conformity to purchase order specifications and accurate information is entered intothe Inventory Database. Creates sales orders from customer requests, verifies items pulled prior todistribution within LifeNet facilities to ensure conformance to inventory procedures/ standards andmarks all outgoing material with identifying information. Releases, Quarantines and discards allmaterials in accordance to quality inspection plans, regulatory guidelines and SOPs.
  • Documentation & Recordkeeping: Completes Receiving Inspection Reports (RIR) and other
    supporting documentation. Maintains records of component verification testing that includes the
    component identity and the testing methods that were used, as well as the actual test data and results,whether the items were accepted or rejected and disposition of non-conforming products.
  • Quality Control: Conducts quality inspections and/or schedules third party testing on all incoming critical components / manufacturing materials, to ensure that all are acceptable for their intended use and will perform their function reliably in their intended application.
  • Inventory Maintenance: Maintains inventory in an orderly and organized manner using stock rotation, storage and picking plans. Monitor’s all critical/controlled condition storage equipmentto ensure they are within specification. Establishes and maintains control of holding, quarantine andstorage areas to prevent mix-ups, damage, deterioration, or contamination of product/s pending use ordistribution and ensures that no obsolete, rejected, or deteriorated product is used or distributed.Accurately performs inventory counts on all stocked warehouse items, assists in keeping inventoryitems at correct usage levels and reports shortages in a timely manner items

WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid VA Driver’s License
  • 4 years of experience in Warehousing, Storeroom or Inventory
  • 1 year of Quality Control in Receving Inspection experience
  • 1 year of experience in using an Inventory Database


Preferred Experience/Skills/Certifications:

  • 4 years of experience with material lot number tracking
  • 1 year of SAP experience

Key Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate and build relationships with all professionals at different levels within the organization
  • Time Management: Able to prioritize multiple, competing priorities and manage time/workload. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple time sensitive projects, multi-task, identify project interdependencies and potential risks/pitfalls.
  • Attention to detail: Able to perform tasks thoroughly and with care; checks work to ensure high degree of accuracy/completeness and early/on-time delivery.
  • Proficient in MS Office: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Microsoft Suite.

Quality Inspection: Ability to understand Quality Inspection plans. Detail oriented

COMPENSATION

Salary Range: $18.51 to $24.68 hourly


Final compensation will be based on factors such as geographic location, qualifications, and prior relevant experience. The pay range for this position is $18.51hourly (entry level qualifications) to $24.68hourly
(experienced in this role). Actual compensation may be higher based on the successful candidate’s knowledge and relevant experience.
