Job Description

We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician with 4 + years of Journeyman level expereience to oversee a small crew responsible for installing energy-saving light fixtures and components. This role involves hands-on work with a team of 2-3 people and requires occasional travel to areas such as Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina.

-Looking for local candidates in the Richmond area, as well as candidates who are open to traveling throughout Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage a crew of 2-3 technicians in the installation of energy-saving light fixtures.
• Support the installation process by working hands-on with light fixtures and components.
• Occasionally work with MC Cable and perform minimal wiring tasks.
• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Primarily operate within the Richmond Area with occasional travel to VA, MD, and NC.

Essential Skills

• Electrical aptitude and experience in the electrical field.
• Proficiency in installing light fixtures.
• Experience as a lead technician or crew leader.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record.

Work Environment

Work as part of a small crew of about 3-4 people. The role involves hands-on tasks and requires occasional travel, primarily focusing on projects within the Richmond Area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlottesville, VA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
