Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing excellent customer support to clients seeking tree care services. This role serves as the first point of contact for customers, handling incoming calls, scheduling estimates and services, answering questions, and ensuring a positive customer experience from initial inquiry to job completion.
Key Responsibilities
Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and online inquiries from customers.
Provide information about tree services including tree removal, trimming, pruning, stump grinding, and emergency services.
Schedule estimates and service appointments for arborists.
Maintain and update customer records in the company’s scheduling or CRM system.
Communicate job details, scheduling changes, and service updates to customers.
Coordinate with field crews and management regarding schedules, job progress, and customer needs.
Prepare and send estimates.
Resolve customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Follow up with customers after services to ensure satisfaction.
Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous customer service or office administration experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple phone calls and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, Microsoft Office or similar).
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in landscaping, tree service, or construction-related industries.
Familiarity with scheduling software or CRM systems.
Ability to prioritize urgent or emergency service requests.
Work Environment
Office setting with frequent phone and computer use.
Interaction with customers, field crews, and management throughout the day.
