Our Potential Opportunity
INTECH Process Automation Inc. is seeking Senior AI Engineer to join our growing Industrial Intelligence Solutions (IIS) division. This role is central to building next-generation IIoT, data, and industrial AI applications that support industries such as Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Chemicals, Food & Beverages, and Metals & Mining. At INTECH, you will work on impactful projects, developing intelligent software solutions that utilize real-time operational data, advanced analytics, and cutting-edge Generative AI to solve complex industrial challenges. These AI-powered tools are crafted to enhance productivity, improve decision-making processes, and foster an environment of efficiency and innovation in the workplace.
What You’ll Lead and Deliver
- Define the end-to-end AI roadmap and steer long-term technical decisions.
- Drive model architecture, experimentation, and evaluation strategies based on current research trends.
- Guide the transition from research prototypes to production-hardened enterprise AI systems.
- Introduce methodologies to ensure reliability, trustworthiness, and explainability in AI systems.
- Architect and optimize LLM-based solutions, including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and custom tooling.
- Evaluate, fine-tune, and integrate state-of-the-art models (open-source and proprietary).
- Lead advanced experimentation: model distillation, hybrid search strategies, prompt optimization, hallucination detection, etc.
- Build frameworks for automatic evaluation, versioning, and safe deployment of large-scale AI systems.
- Address and solve typical enterprise GenAI challenges such as: Data security, governance, and privacy controls,Hallucination reduction and factual grounding,Latency optimization and inference throughput,High-availability and scalable serving architectures,Multi-model routing, caching, and cost efficiency,Observability, monitoring, and auditability of LLM workflows
- Collaborate with DevOps and platform engineering to achieve production-grade reliability, logging, and SLA-backed performance.
- Work closely with product teams to shape features and AI-driven value propositions.
- Assess enterprise workflows and identify AI-led automation or augmentation opportunities.
- Communicate complex AI concepts to stakeholders in clear, business-oriented language.
- Mentor engineers and establish internal AI engineering standards and best practices.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, AI, Data Science, or a closely related field is preferred for the role.
- Demonstrated applied research background with publications, patents, or real-world AI deployments.
- 5 – 8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related fields.
- Expert-level Python skills and proficiency in modern ML/AI frameworks.
- Deep understanding of: Large language models, embeddings, vector search ,
- Deep understanding of: AG architectures and LLM orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, custom stacks)
- Deep understanding of: P rompt engineering and evaluation methodologies
- Deep understanding of: Distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native implementations
- Production experience deploying AI systems in enterprise or regulated environments.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with GPU/accelerator-based model serving.
- Experience with MLOps tooling (MLFlow, Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker, etc.).
- Contributions to open-source GenAI libraries, research toolkits, or LLM frameworks.
- Prior work in enterprise or Fortune 500 environments.
- Strong understanding of knowledge graphs, structured data pipelines, and hybrid search systems.
