FOH Manager
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Front of House Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our dining room operations. The FOH Manager ensures a seamless, elevated guest experience by managing staff, maintaining service standards, and fostering a culture of hospitality excellence in our upscale casual New American restaurant. This role combines leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on service management.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure consistent, high-quality service and guest satisfaction throughout every shift
- Assist in training new team members on service standards, menu knowledge, and restaurant policies
- Monitor guest feedback and respond proactively to resolve issues
- Maintain smooth communication between front-of-house and kitchen staff
- Oversee reservations, table assignments, and dining room flow
- Manage inventory and ordering of FOH supplies (linen, glassware, condiments, etc.)
- Enforce compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
- Collaborate with the General Manager and Executive Chef to implement seasonal initiatives and service enhancements
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in FOH management or supervisory role in upscale casual or fine dining
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Deep knowledge of New American cuisine, beverage programs, and service standards
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:
