Azure Cloud Architect
Lovelytics is looking for a client-facing and stakeholder-managing Azure Cloud Architect to contribute to the growth of our engagements and provide cloud expertise to our clients. In this role, you’ll plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy end-to-end cloud transformation/migration solutions and other projects and solutions that arise.
As a Cloud Architect at Lovelytics, you will provide thought leadership and focus on the strategy and delivery of our cloud practice engagements as it relates to databricks and other partner technologies across the organization.
Further, we are looking for someone who wants to work in a collaborative, dynamic, and inclusive environment and has a passion for bringing meaning to data.
This role is open to remote candidates in the US.
This role is not open for work sponsorship at this time.Primary Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in the planning and execution of our cloud strategy, thought leadership, and overall delivery of our cloud practice and engagements
- Use problem-solving creativity to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions for our client’s most complex problems across different industries on Microsoft azure, databricks, and other Lovelytics partner and client technologies
- Gather and understand requirements from clients to develop a creative and effective technical solution
- Design, build, and/or test cloud infrastructure-focused solutions for clients, specifically Azure
- Support evolving concepts in continuous integration and deployment CI/CD pipelines for existing and new services
- Implement DevOps including auto-scaled architectures for environment rebuild
- Build out, architect, and design solutions in the cloud for data platforms and applications (Terraform and/or ARM template scripting)
Ideal Candidate's Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years of relevant experience as a cloud consultant, engineer, or architect, playing a part in the presales process and stakeholder management
- High proficiency in Azure cloud framework including the following certifications:
- Azure Solution Architect Expert and Administrator
- Azure DevOps Engineer (a plus)
- Proven expertise working with Azure DevOps
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash
- Experience with Cloud Automation and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudShell, PowerShell, Bicep/ARM, Webhook, and runbook)
- Exposure to Databricks, with the ability to pick up and apply knowledge across any technology
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to communicate appropriately with corporate executives and technical teams (both technically and non-technically)

The salary range for this position is $123,000-$165,000 depending on experience and skills.
