IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL

Facilitate collection of delinquent accounts. You will also process and monitor all the incoming payments. You will manage accounts receivable and record and post all the payment in a correct and timely manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Requests and pursues payment on delinquent accounts via communication with account holder.

· Follows established guidelines to review and update account status.

· Maintains log of payment invoices and pertinent account details; schedules follow-up communication with account holder.

· Monitors accounts receivable and receipt reports.

· Process payments and apply them to patient accounts

· Conduct account reconciliation and analysis to ensure accuracy

· Handle account inquiries and resolve any billing discrepancies

· Utilize accounting software and HER software to record and track financial transactions

· Collaborate with other offices to ensure proper revenue cycle management

· Assist with telemarketing efforts to collect outstanding balances

· Performs other related duties, as required.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to communicate with account holders in a courteous manner.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Two years of related experience in accounts receivable preferred.

· Accounting associate degree or pursuit of a Bachelor of Accounting Degree highly desirable.

· This position is ideal for an accounting student, pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree in accountancy.

· Flexible schedule, 25-40 hours a week.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
