We're searching our next Social Media Specialist. This role requires a communications and social media background and will support an office at the U.S. Department of Energy. The candidate will be highly motivated, data driven, and will help grow the capacity of ICF Next's Social Media Practice. Strong candidates will have experience helping clients track their social media outreach efforts and meet their strategic communications goals. We are a team of social media communications strategists and specialists, supporting federal, state, and local government client accounts. We work together to provide our clients with social media management, content writing, social listening, metrics reporting and training. In this role you will be working to provide clients with various social media needs from channel management and content writing to social listening and metrics reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the account team and client to develop and execute an organic social media strategy in support of their overall strategic plans.
- Create social media content, including copy and creative.
- Manage analytics for clients' programs and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Compile reports for management showing results (ROI, KPI's).
- Develop social listening reports and analyze social volume, trends, and conversations.
- Understand myriad social media platforms and best practices to help account teams grow media channels.
- Be a creative thinker and problem solver.
- Work closely with creative, digital, and paid media teams.
- Support social-specific strategy development for existing clients and new business.
Required Qualifications: - BS/BA in Marketing, PR, Communications, or related field
- 5+ years of social media experience
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
- Must be a U.S. citizen (required by federal government for the position).
Professional Skills: - Demonstrated experience with social media platform management, content development, analytics and listening tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Brandwatch)
- Strong writing skills
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
- Comfortable working with remote teams
- Demonstrated experience integrating creative, data/analytics, paid media, and/or other client services teams to develop fully integrated, insight-driven campaigns
- Experience developing social media and communications plans and presenting to leadership teams
- Detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Ability to work independently, seek help as needed and contribute to team and company culture
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in a PR or advertising agency a plus
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and is able to adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks on a day-to-day basis
- Goverment contracting experience

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $56,467.00 - $95,993.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
