INSIDE PARTS SALES
Highway Motors - Harrisonburg is a heavy-duty truck dealership seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as an Inside Parts Sales representative. If you have a passion for automotive parts and exceptional customer service skills, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and purchasing the right parts for their needs.
- Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely delivery of parts.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software.

- Provide customer service and process orders for customers at parts counter, Ecommerce and over the phone.
- Assist outside sales staff with quotes and orders.
- Assist in maintaining accuracy of inventory.
- Process core and new part returns.
- Maintain up to date company provided training on new processes and new products.
- Accurately fill customer orders as needed by retrieving requested material.
- Take part in maintaining appearance of location as needed, straightening, cleaning of display and counter area etc..
- 2 years of sales experience in the medium/ heavy duty or automotive industry preferred but not required.
- Basic computer skills with experience with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills both in person and over the phone.
