- Duration: 13-week contract
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM start)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,090 - $2,140
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent PCU nursing experience
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans for Progressive Care Unit patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Monitor and assess patients with acute or chronic health conditions in a clinical setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on health management, recovery, and discharge planning
- Delegate appropriate tasks to unlicensed assistive personnel as needed
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
