**Job Summary**
**As an Echo Technologist, you would perform all established echocardiography procedures. While communicating the nature of the procedure to the patient, you will address any questions or concerns.**
+ **You would recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissue, structures and blood flow while adjusting scanning techniques to optimize image quality and spectral waveform.**
+ **Analyze sonographic findings throughout the course of the examination so a comprehensive exam is complete and sufficient data is provided to the physician to render a final diagnosis.**
+ **You will initiate additional scanning techniques or administer contrast agents as indicated by the examination.**
+ **Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals to provide the best medical care possible for all patients.**
+ **You will perform stress echo testing when needed.**
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ **Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program. RDS eligible or registered.**
+ **Registered Cardiac Sonographer.**
+ **Minimum of 2 years of cardiac/echo sonographer experience.**
+ **Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date**
