Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Patrol Representative in Leesburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic healthcare location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

- Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other assigned areas, assist with access-related concerns, and document incidents, observations, and/or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
- Support a professional environment by providing directions, de-escalating routine conflicts when appropriate, and reporting security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
