Computer Systems Analyst (Secret Clearance Required)

NextGen Federal Systems is seeking an experienced Computer Systems Analyst to evaluate, design, and implement computer systems that meet organizational and customer requirements. This role serves as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating user needs into system requirements, analyzing solution alternatives, and ensuring successful implementation and functionality of information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Elicit, analyze, and document system and business requirements based on user input and operational needs
- Evaluate existing systems and propose enhancements or alternative solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop detailed technical and functional documentation, including system specifications and process flows
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and stakeholders throughout the system development life cycle
- Test development and production software to ensure correct functionality, performance, and compliance with requirements
- Coordinate and support the implementation of computer systems to meet customer and business requirements
- Assist with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and post-implementation support
- Ensure systems align with organizational standards, security policies, and best practices
- Four-year degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related Information Technology (IT) role for Mid-level consideration; Minimum of seven (7) years of experience for Senior-level consideration
- Proven experience developing system requirements based on user input
- Experience analyzing business requirements and evaluating technical and functional alternatives
- Experience developing and maintaining technical and functional documentation
- Experience testing development and production software for correct functionality
- Experience implementing computer systems to meet customer requirements
- Active DoD Secret security clearance or higher
