Job Summary:

If you are ready to build a home AND a career, CAVCO - Rocky Mount is seeking committed team members for various PRODUCTION HOME ASSEMBLER positions with starting pay of $19.90* per hour ! (*This includes a COMPETITIVE Starting Rate + Production + Attendance and Christmas Bonuses!) Team members can earn up to $20.90 to $22.80 per hour based on experience, qualifications and additional Production Bonus by participating in our exciting new CAREER PROGRESSION PROGRAM !

• Chassis Assemblers and Welders
• Floor Assemblers and Decking Associates
• Carpet and Linoleum Installers
• Wall Framing and Installers
• Roof Build/Tops & Electrical
• Exteriors/Vinyl Siding Installers
• Roofers/Shingle Layers
• Cabinet Makers
• Molders
• Final Finish Associates

Working Conditions:

• Continuous exposure to heat, cold, noise, and working outdoors
• Must wear protective equipment while at the location

Qualifications:

• Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus, but not required
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in a climate-protected environment
• Skilled in the operation and control of hand tools (tape measure, hammer, utility knife, etc.)
• Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Not afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment on a daily basis
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
