Shipping Support
We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Shipping Support to join a leading Company located in the Louisa, VA surrounding area.
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable Shipping Associate to join our team. This is a physically demanding role that involves loading trucks, moving pallets, and ensuring accurate and timely shipment of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
- Move, stack, and organize pallets and materials in the warehouse or shipping area
- Prepare and stage shipments according to schedules and shipping documentation
- Operate pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment (training provided if needed)
- Inspect outgoing shipments to verify accuracy and quality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting upto 50 lbs and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Previous warehouse, shipping, or material-handling experience preferred (but not required)
- Team-oriented with a positive, safety-minded attitude
