Estate Planning Legal Assistant

Kimberly A. Pinchbeck, P.C., a boutique trusts and estates firm located in Richmond, is seeking a full-time legal assistant, whose primary responsibilities will relate to estate planning.
Duties Include:
- Drafting estate planning documents (e.g. Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Medical Directives, and Deeds);
- Communicating with clients, financial institutions, etc.;
- Monitoring deadlines for attorneys and clients;
- Drafting pleadings, correspondence, etc. related to estate planning and guardianship matters;
- Drafting real estate closing documents for Client-Sellers;
- Assisting with billing, time entry, and administrative tasks incidental to the above.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- At least two years of experience in estate planning (required);
- Bachelor’s Degree or related paralegal certificate (preferred);
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, and/or WordPerfect;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
Job Type: Full-time; In Person
Schedule:
- 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Monday to Friday
Salary: Commensurate with experience.
