HRIS Analyst (ADP Experience)

**Must live in VA & be able to travel to Lynchburg, VA as needed**

Position Summary:
The HRIS Analyst is responsible for developing, testing, maintaining, installing, and/or deploying of applications and related information technologies in support of IT Systems Analyst II and IS Director. This role works with internal and external customers to determine operational and clinical needs of an application which may be met using IT services and solutions. This role is focused primarily on front line application support and minimal systems maintenance and development.
Primary Functions:
- Works with end users and primary stakeholders to ensure systems meet the organization's business needs
- Takes ownership, responsibility, and accountability of supporting enterprise business systems
- Serves as a liaison between business stakeholders and software vendors and consultants
- Perform customer-approved application build and supports ITIL change management procedures
- Provides support and troubleshooting to end users to meet IT Service Level Agreements for incident management
- Performs root cause analysis of problems and recommends steps to prevent recurrences
- Develops, reviews, and documents system test plans. Performs system tests. Ensures that test requirements are met. Revises/debugs software.
- Maintains system documentation for effective backup support
- Communicates issues to management appropriately
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- A deep understanding of the organization and the user community in the supported system's business area
- Be responsible for managing increasingly complex individual projects or work streams
- Project management and organizational skills to communicate and follow-up effectively with project leadership, subject matter experts and external customers/vendors on project timelines and documents performance
- Eagerness to learn the software and increase knowledge over time while promoting it within the organization
- Performs complex system analysis, design, integration, testing, implementation, maintenance, and planning of assigned applications and/or projects. Assist IT Systems Analyst I staff with application configuration. Implement and develop communication plan.
- The ability to probe for information about the underlying needs of the organization and user community, which directly influences how the system will be built

Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or 1-3 years' experience in IT
- Must have experience engineering with ADP
- Strong working knowledge of application systems and analyst tools
- Deep understanding of the workflows in healthcare business and clinical operations and proven ability to work on a variety of projects
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Must be able to travel to the office as needed
Certification:
- HRIS Administrator will acquire and maintain vendor software certification(s) as applicable.
Physical Demands
- The HRIS Analyst job is a Full-Time position. Occasional travel is a requirement of the position and will vary in length depending on purpose of the trip. Trips are generally planned; however, there may be times that travel is last minute.
