Role Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Tester specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Service) . The successful candidate will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of Dynamics 365 solutions. This role involves close collaboration with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver robust, scalable, and high-quality business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Automation Development : Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Dynamics 365 applications using relevant frameworks and tools.

• Test Planning & Execution : Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

• Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and rapid feedback.

• Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects; work with developers to ensure timely resolution and retesting.

• Requirements Analysis : Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate business processes into test scenarios.

• Test Reporting : Generate and communicate test results, coverage metrics, and quality status to stakeholders.

• Best Practices & Standards : Promote QA best practices, maintain clear test documentation, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

• Manual Testing Support : Perform manual testing as needed to supplement automation or validate complex test cases.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

• 2+ years of test automation experience, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics 365 products

• Proficiency with automation tools ( Selenium, Playwright, EasyRepro, RSAT )

• Experience with scripting languages ( C#, JavaScript, PowerShell ) for automation

• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture, modules, and business processes

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.)

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MS Dynamics products at the Department of Veterans Affairs

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)

• Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI)

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 or QA certifications

• Experience with performance and load testing tools

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

• Prior experience collaborating with Veterans Affairs stakeholders to optimize CRM workflows and enhance service delivery

• Experience implementing or supporting CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) within a federal agency environment

• Knowledge of Department of Veterans Affairs operations, policies, and programs , with an emphasis on client-facing technology solutions

  Clearance:
  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  Compensation and Benefits
  40-60hr (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
