Job Description:
NDi is seeking an experienced Information System Security Representative (ISSR) - Senior to support enterprise information system security execution and quality assurance activities for a large federal IT services program.
The ISSR (Senior) supports system security efforts by assisting with control validation, documentation review, evidence analysis, and continuous monitoring activities. This role works in close coordination with ISSOs and security engineers to ensure security artifacts are accurate, complete, and aligned with federal cybersecurity requirements.
Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance at the time of application
- This position requires working onsite at one of the following locations, 5 days per week: Downtown Washington, DC; Huntsville, AL; or Clarksburg, WV
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
- Eight (8) or more years supporting federal information systems security or RMF-related activities; in absence of years of experience, certifications or past work may be used to show the level of experience needed to perform at this level
- Experience supporting RMF documentation, control implementation descriptions, and evidence collection.
- Experience reviewing security artifacts for accuracy, completeness, and policy alignment.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and federal cybersecurity documentation standards.
- Experience supporting continuous monitoring activities and security status reporting.
- Experience working within GRC or security tracking tools
Responsibilities:
- Support ISSOs with preparation, review, and maintenance of RMF artifacts.
- Review security documentation and evidence for quality and consistency.
- Assist with tracking and documentation of POA&M remediation activities.
- Support continuous monitoring and recurring security reviews.
- Coordinate with security engineers and system teams to address documentation or compliance gaps.
- Provide senior-level support and guidance to junior ISSRs
