As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover in Sandston VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors staff and/or contractors while carrying out assigned security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings access points parking areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials as directed by site procedures and document security-related events observations and/or concerns in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate including following post orders providing clear directions and assisting with orderly incident management.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
