Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time AERMOR is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, testing, and integration of advanced electrical and electronic systems in support of C4ISR and related U.S. Navy Navigation Systems programs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in system design, architecture development, and technology assessment, with demonstrated experience supporting mission-critical naval electronics systems. This is not a remote position. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test electrical and electronic equipment supporting C4ISR or similar systems.
- Lead system integration efforts including interface design, system architecture definition, and validation of hardware/software components.
- Perform technology analysis and system assessments to support modernization and lifecycle improvements.
- Develop and review system specifications, test and evaluation criteria, and logistics support documentation.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with design and operational requirements.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, system drawings, and engineering documentation.
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 10 years of professional experience, or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) and 12 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in C4ISR systems or similar complex military systems engineering.
- Expertise in at least one of the following specialized areas: Printed Circuit Board (PCB) interface protocols (I/Os), digital design using modern microprocessors, or analog, power, and/or RF circuit design
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience supporting the design and development of U.S. Navy Navigation Systems.
- Strong understanding of systems analysis, architecture development, and test/evaluation methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities.
