Position Description:

Seneca Resources is seeking a highly skilled CADD Design Drafter with strong drafting experience and a solid background in utilities or power generation. In this role, you will support an industrial Nuclear Power Station by preparing, updating, and maintaining technical documentation including P&IDs, circuit diagrams, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on drafting experience using MicroStation and AutoCAD , a collaborative mindset, and the ability to interpret and work with complex technical documents. Key Responsibilities:

• Create, update, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and civil construction drawings for an industrial power station.
• Prepare and revise P&IDs, circuit diagrams, and one-line diagrams.
• Work from engineer/designer sketches to produce detailed drawings.
• Retrieve and manage original drawings, issue updated versions, and ensure accurate records.
• Perform manual and computer-aided drafting (MicroStation/AutoCAD).
• Apply mathematical and technical knowledge to verify drawings and calculations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of documents.
• Maintain drafting systems in operational condition and perform lettering and layout tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Education:

• Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in a design/draftsman role.
• Strong MicroStation and AutoCAD skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and revise technical documents, drawings, and estimates.
• Solid math and basic calculation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in Drafting/Design preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
• Experience working in utilities, energy, or industrial environments is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in electrical drafting , with working knowledge of civil and mechanical drawings.
• Prior experience supporting nuclear or industrial power station projects.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary teams.

Interview Process:

• 1–2 rounds via Microsoft Teams (camera on)
