Position Overview
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer for a potential upcoming opportunity:- Facilitate the development of new software solutions and the transition of existing solutions from monolithic structures to micro-service structures operating within hardened containers.
- Work with application development teams to refactor or create solutions that leverage the DevSecOps CI/CD pipeline and tools.
- Deploys and sustains a microservices factory utilizing COTS and open-source solutions.
Position Duties
- Facilitate development of new software solutions using DevSecOps best practices.
- Support modernization efforts to transition monolithic systems into microservice-based architectures.
- Build and maintain hardened container environments for secure deployment.
- Work with application development teams to refactor or create CI/CD pipeline-compatible solutions.
- Provide instruction and guidance to development teams throughout implementation.
- Deploy and sustain a microservices factory using COTS and open-source solutions.
- Support automated testing, deployment, and continuous integration activities.
Minimum Requirements
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
