Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
We are seeking a Locums Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join a collaborative hospital-based anesthesia team in Winchester, Virginia. This opportunity offers a flexible weekday schedule with no call, no weekends, and a diverse case mix in a supportive 1:4 care team model.
Position Highlights
Hospital & Ambulatory Surgery Center Setting
Flexible schedule options:
4 x 10-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
5 x 10-hour shifts
3 x 12-hour shifts
4 x 12-hour shifts
Monday–Friday coverage
No Call
No Weekends
Full-time coverage preferred; providers available 2–3 weeks per month will be considered.
Practice Details
Collaborative 1:4 care team model with anesthesiologist support
Adult patient population
No cardiac anesthesia cases
Daily Electrophysiology (EP) coverage
Limited OB exposure with potential for future expansion
Case volume varies from approximately 2 complex procedures to 15 endoscopy cases per day

Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases.
Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and provide post-anesthesia care.
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
Complete accurate documentation using Epic EMR.
Qualifications
NBCRNA Certified
Active Virginia license or eligible for licensure
Minimum of 3–5 years of CRNA experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required)
Strong general anesthesia skills
Spinal and epidural anesthesia experience preferred
