**What You'll Do:**
+ Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the healthcare facility.
+ Verify identification and credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas within the location.
+ Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while documenting and reporting all relevant details.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or breaches.
+ Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
+ Collaborate with facility staff and/or local authorities as needed during emergency response activities.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
