Position: Â Full-Time Estate Housekeeper
Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (with some weekend flexibility)
Compensation:  $80,000–$115,000 DOE
Start Date: Â ASAP

About the Family

A warm and busy family is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Estate Housekeeper to oversee the daily cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of their large private residence and surrounding property. The home is approximately 8,000 square feet on 1.6 acres and includes additional structures such as a carriage house, pool, and outdoor entertaining spaces. The family has three children (11-year-old twins and an 8-year-old) and values a well-run, organized, and consistently maintained household.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment, including during upcoming renovations to the kitchen and pool house.

About the Role

1. Full Housekeeping & Home Maintenance

• Full cleaning and upkeep of an 8,000 sq ft home and additional property spaces
• Deep cleaning, daily maintenance, and overall household organization
• Laundry management (approximately 12–13 loads weekly)
• Ironing and garment steaming
• Bed linen changes and general household upkeep
• Keeping all areas consistently tidy, organized, and guest-ready
• Watering plants and maintaining general household presentation

2. Laundry & Organization

• Full management of household laundry systems
• Coordination of dry cleaning
• Organizing closets, storage areas, and household spaces

3. Household & Outdoor Support

• Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor living areas, including poolside and entertaining spaces
• Assisting with basic pet care for two cats
• Unpacking and organizing grocery deliveries
• Occasional errands and household organization support

4. Vendor & Household Coordination

• Managing cleaning-related vendors and service providers
• Scheduling household services as needed
• Supporting household flow during renovations and ongoing projects

5. Occasional Support Tasks

• Light meal preparation for children as needed
• Assisting with general household operations to ensure smooth daily functioning

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-run home. They should be self-directed, dependable, and able to anticipate household needs while maintaining discretion and flexibility.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of professional housekeeping experience in large private homes
• Strong deep cleaning, laundry, and organization skills
• Experience managing household systems and maintaining high standards
• Comfortable working in a dynamic household with renovations
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent references required
• Background check required, including DMV
• Pet-friendly (cats)
