A-Line Staffing is now hiring Pharmacy Technician 2in Mechanicsville, VA . The Pharmacy Technician 2would be working for a Fortune 500 company (Walgreens)and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week .
Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation
· The pay for this position is $16.50/hr (trainee)or $17.50/hr (licensed)
· Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
· A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician 2 Highlights
· This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
· The required availability for this position is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday — 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM (on-site)
Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities
- Process prescription exceptions (including claim rejects, member outreach, and physician outreach)
- Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issues
- Escalate prescription questions to a pharmacist for interpretation and direction
- Assist with inbound and/or outbound patient/physician calls
- Other duties as assigned
Pharmacy Technician 2 Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2–4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience
- Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification or Trainee license as required by the state of operation
- Basic computer skills
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Technician 2 Preferred Qualifications
- Experience resolving claim rejects / insurance billing issues
- Experience with patient/physician phone support (inbound/outbound)
