Java Developer (REMOTE)

: ATS Job ID 24100044 Arlluk Technology Solutions, a Koniag Government Services Company, is seeking an experienced Java Developer to support ATS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Author, maintain and enhance user interfaces associated with applications written in HTML and JavaScript Frameworks such as extJS, jQuery and AJAX.
• Maintain and enhance critical applications written in Java, JavaScript, JSP, Spring, Hibernate and Apache-Tomcat utilizing an Oracle Database
• Actively engage with Product Owners and Agile Business Analysts/Agile Quality Analysts to develop sprint goals/commitments.
• Actively engage in planning and committing to products for sprints
• Perform Shippable product demonstrations.
• Mentor and Lead by example their Scrum Team colleagues through informal communication and openness/knowledge sharing.
• Daily update tasks and stories with accurate updates
• Participate and engage in all team meetings and all scrums.
• Ensure Security and Section 508 (Accessibility) Compliance of all products.

Education, Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor's, associate degree or experience in computer science, information technology, or computer-related disciplines.
• Must be a US citizen able to obtain a Public Trust level clearance, per Government requirements.
• 3-5 years of experience supporting custom applications
• Experience supporting Federal Agencies
• Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
• Experience with HTML and JavaScript Frameworks

Working Environment & Conditions This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
