Assistant Head Groom
Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual to join the team at Will Coleman Equestrian. This is a hands-on position within a top international eventing program, supporting the daily care and management of elite competition horses and assisting our Head Groom in maintaining exceptional standards across the barn and at competitions.
Responsibilities include:
- Daily horse care and grooming
- Tacking, untacking, bathing, clipping, wrapping, and turnout
- Assisting with conditioning and competition preparation
- Managing barn organization, cleanliness, and horse presentation
- Coordinating feed, medications, and basic health monitoring
- Supporting travel logistics and care at national/international events
- Helping oversee working students and barn routines
Ideal candidates are organized, dependable, and passionate about high-performance horse care. Previous upper-level grooming experience preferred. A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.
