Project Services Team Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician Full-Time | Monday - Friday (2nd Shift) 5:00pm - 1:30am | $16$18/hr | Newport News, VA
Want to learn a skilled trade and see the results of your work every night?Were hiring an Entry-Level Evening Floor Technician to join our Project Services Team. This full-time evening position is ideal for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to build a long-term career in commercial floor care. No prior experience required we provide hands-on training, mentorship, and clear pathways into advanced technician and leadership roles. Youll work with a small mobile crew completing commercial floor care projects across Newport News and surrounding areas. We provide the vehicle, equipment, uniforms, and training you bring reliability and pride in your work. What Youll Do:
- Assist with stripping, waxing, buffing, and restoring commercial floors
- Clean and maintain VCT, tile, and concrete surfaces
- Operate floor machines (auto scrubbers, buffers, burnishers training provided)
- Load and unload equipment at job sites
- Follow safety and chemical handling guidelines
- Complete projects on schedule and to quality standards
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Valid drivers license with clean record
- Team-oriented mindset
- Pride in producing visible, high-quality results
- $16$18 per hour (based on experience)
