Press Operator
Lithographic Printing Press Operator
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Lithographic Printing Press Operator to join our production team. This role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining lithographic printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate will have experience with web press operation, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to meeting both company and client quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate lithographic printing presses based on job specifications
- Monitor press operations to ensure consistency and print quality
- Adjust ink, water, and registration as needed during production
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on press equipment
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating lithographic printing presses preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a solid understanding of print quality standards
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve press issues quickly and efficiently
- Familiarity with color theory and ink mixing is a plus
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
Work Schedule:
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours = full-time)
- Optional overtime available as needed
- Night shift schedule begins after training and orientation
