We're contributing to one of the FAA’s most ambitious efforts to date, the Brand New Air Traffic Control System (BNATCS), a nationwide modernization of the National Airspace System (NAS) . This initiative will elevate safety, streamline operations, and strengthen infrastructure across more than 4,600 locations.

BNATCS is revolutionizing air traffic control through comprehensive infrastructure upgrades, including:

  • Thousands of new radios and hundreds of modern radar systems
  • Enhanced runway safety at 200 airports
  • Six new control centers
  • A unified operational platform to streamline aviation operations nationwide

We’re looking for professionals and problem solvers in the following fields:

  • Program Management Support: Acquisition Specialists, Program Analysts, Project Coordinators, Project Managers
  • Communications Engineering: Radio Engineers, RF Engineers, Spectrum Engineers, Telecommunications Engineers, Voice Engineers
  • Systems Engineering: Chief Requirements Engineers, IV&V Leads, MBSE/Digital Engineering Specialists, System Architects
  • NAS Systems Engineering: Automation Requirements Leads, NAS Domain Architects, Interface Definition Engineers, Flow Management Engineers, Surveillance Radar Engineers

  • Security Engineering: Cybersecurity Architects, Security Control Specialists

Requirements:

Role Requirements: To support this transformative aviation initiative, we’re seeking professionals who bring a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and a commitment to mission success. Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in aviation or FAA-related programs , with a strong understanding of the operational landscape.
  • Technical, business, or programmatic acumen to navigate complex systems and deliver impactful solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively , contributing to cross-functional teams and shared goals.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and modern engineering approaches , including digital transformation and systems integration.
  • Strong initiative and follow-through , with the ability to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Candidates can expect to work on-site or in a hybrid setting in the following locations: Washington, Washington, DC; Atlantic City, New Jersey; Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Remote/hybrid status is subject to change based on Evans and/or government requirements.

Compensation

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for these positions in a full-time capacity is $65,000 to $215,000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for these positions and is just one component of Evans’s total compensation package for employees.
