Job Title: Plumbing Service Manager / Field Supervisor

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumbing Service Manager to lead our plumbing service department. This role combines operational management with on-site leadership to ensure our service technicians deliver top-quality work, maintain safety standards, and provide excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is a licensed plumbing professional with proven leadership abilities and the flexibility to balance office duties with hands-on field supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Field Supervision & Quality Control

• Supervise and support plumbing technicians and apprentices in the field.

• Perform jobsite visits to ensure work is completed to code, safety, and company quality standards.

• Troubleshoot complex plumbing issues and provide technical guidance.

• Conduct ride-along to mentor and evaluate team performance.

Leadership & Team Development

• Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to field staff.

• Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.

• Assist with onboarding and skills development of new hires.

Project & Workflow Management

• Coordinate schedules, resources, and priorities with dispatch and project managers.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and meet client expectations.

• Monitor performance metrics such as productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce safety policies and procedures on all job sites.

• Verify compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and field reports.

Requirements:

• Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber (state requirements apply).

• 7+ years of plumbing service experience, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong technical knowledge of residential and/or commercial plumbing systems.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to balance office management responsibilities with in-field supervision.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

The compensation for this position is expected to range between $25 - $42 per hour DOE. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed.
