Job Description VMware NSX-T / NSX-V Expertise Design, deployment, and troubleshooting of NSX environments to include vDefend Micro-segmentation, distributed firewall, and logical routing Networking Fundamentals TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, multicast Layer 2/3 switching and routing Virtualization Platforms VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter) Integration with other VMware products (vRealize, vSAN) Security & Firewalling Distributed firewall rules IDS/IPS concepts Role-based access control (RBAC) Automation & Scripting PowerCLI, Python, Ansible NSX API usage for automation Experience with Tag based Rules Cloud & Hybrid Environments NSX integration with public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Tools & Technologies VMware vSphere, NSX-T/NSX-V vRealize Network Insight vCenter Server PowerCLI / Python Ansible / Terraform Cisco / Juniper networking gear (for hybrid environments) Certifications (Preferred) VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization (VCP-NV) VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP-NV) CCNA/CCNP (for strong networking background) Soft Skills Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work in cross-functional teams Problem-solving and analytical thinking Pay Range: $50-$80/HR We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
