Shop Manager

Blue Ridge Truck and Auto is seeking a dynamic and energetic Shop Manager to lead our retail store operations with enthusiasm and precision. Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff scheduling.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and train new employees to build a high-performing team aligned with company standards.
• Manage payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling processes accurately and efficiently.
• Oversee merchandising strategies, pricing adjustments, and promotional activities to maximize sales and store profitability.
• Maintain inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory management systems.
• Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and resolving issues professionally.
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones while promoting the store’s brand presence.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting to support operational decisions.
• Enforce store policies on Service Advisors, phone etiquette, safety procedures, and cleanliness standards.
• Foster a positive team environment through leadership development, training & development programs, and clear communication.

Experience:

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong background in retail sales management, team leadership, and customer service excellence.
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and recruiting strategies.
• Proficiency with inventory management systems, POS technology, cash handling procedures, and retail math.
• Experience in budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, merchandising, and marketing initiatives.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively.
• Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred to ensure smooth store operations.
