Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Pediatric Physical Therapist position is available at a school setting in Richmond, VA, offering an excellent opportunity for professionals with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy. Open to travel candidates, this on-site position allows you to expand your experience while providing essential therapy services to school-aged children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver pediatric physical therapy services tailored to students' individual needs
- Assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions in school settings
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote holistic student care
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Physical Therapy required
- Valid Physical Therapy license in the state or ability to obtain licensure in Virginia
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric physical therapy within schools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work full-time on-site with potential for travel assignments
