Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team in Newport News, VA. This position primarily focuses on residential HVAC systems, with some opportunities to work on commercial projects. Responsibilities- Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and some commercial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and inspections on HVAC equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while on the job.
- Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC preferred.
- Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
- Proven experience as an HVAC technician, with a strong focus on residential systems.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
