Prestige Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Mechanic to repair and maintain heavy equipment for a 1st shift direct hire Heavy Equipment Mechanic opportunity with outstanding benefits in the greater Martinsville, Virginia area.
Primary Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance and safety related repairs on heavy equipment such as front end loaders, off road dump trucks, cranes, forklifts, skid steers, generators, welders, water pumps, and hydraulic pumps.
- Maintain parts inventory
- Log equipment hours for PM scheduling
- Coordinate with vendors
- Plan work procedures
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED or 3 years of mobile mechanic experience
