We are pleased to introduce you to Compassion Veterinary Center (CVC). Our mission is to provide comprehensive, high-quality, and affordable care to the Fredericksburg, Virginia community. Come join us as we prepare to move into new facility featuring six exam rooms, a dual dental suite, surgery suite, and serene euthanasia room.

As a full-service veterinary clinic specializing in wellness, surgery, and urgent care, we invite you to join our team providing a comprehensive range of services, including general and emergency medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, and surgery. CVC is dedicated to small animal medicine, utilizing sophisticated diagnostics and critical urgent care.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Acquiring histories
• Obtaining blood samples
• Utilizing Idexx in-house lab equipment to run patient lab work
• Assisting doctors with exams
• Obtaining radiographs
• Flawless IV catheter placement
• Obtaining radiographs
• Ability to induce and monitor general anesthesia
• Administer and monitor sedation for procedures
• Client education and communication
• Full and part time shifts available Monday - Saturday 9am-7pm

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary commensurate with experience; $25-35 per hour
• Paid PTO

The ideal candidate should be direct, friendly, organized, resilient and flexible, and enjoy working with cats and dogs. Customer service, computer and multi-tasking skills are essential.
