Lead Cook in Oak Lea ! In this position, you will prepare a diverse range of food for residents, employees, and visitors while upholding high standards for food quality and presentation. You will coordinate all aspects of food service, including menu adjustments and communicating with other service lines. Your knowledge of sanitation practices, safe food handling skills, and other food service-related skills will be invaluable as you prepare delicious meals that delight our residents.

Work Schedule - 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, & 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday) and every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday)

Requirements Education and Experience: High school graduate or GED equivalent with at least 1 year of cooking experience in a food production environment.
Regulatory Knowledge : Working knowledge of HACCP and OSHA protocols.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for long hours and lift/carry up to 35 pounds, including basic mathematical skills for job tasks.
Language Proficiency : Ability to read, write, speak, and understand basic English.
Interpersonal and Independence Skills : Capable of acting/intervening independently in routine/emergency situations; maintains positive relationships with residents and coworkers; interacts tactfully with residents, families, and the public in a professional, customer-first manner; self-motivated.
Scheduling and Availability: Ability to schedule time wisely, accommodate changes, and work overtime, holidays, and weekends as scheduled.
