Position and Facility Overview

SCP Health is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our dynamic team at LewisGale Christiansburg ER. This brand-new freestanding emergency room opened in 2024 and provides highquality, specialized emergency care to the community.

Facility Information

Christiansburg ER is a brandnew, freestanding facility designed to deliver exceptional emergency care to the region. The ER provides treatment for pediatric emergencies, heart attack, stroke, asthma, COPD, orthopedic injuries, and minor illnesses. As part of the LewisGale Regional Health System, the facility benefits from an integrated network of awardwinning hospitals and emergency care centers across Southwest Virginia.

LewisGale Hospital Montgomery—a Level III trauma center—serves as the primary referring hospital for the new ER, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients across the region.
