Program Overview

About The Role

Peraton is seeking a SR Systems Engineer - MBSE to support our Space Systems Solutions business unit.

What you'll do:

The SR Systems Engineering will support the Chief Engineer with developing the architecture baseline (digital twin) using Model Based Systems Engineering expertise. The SE will generate digital engineering artifacts of the mission planning app to provide a comprehensive, real-time view of the technical and programmatic details. Artifacts at each milestone will be defined by the Program Office and the Framework. At minimum, digital engineering artifacts encapsulate MBSE Models, Digital Twins, and Digital Engineering Environment/Integrated Digital Environment. Responsibilities also include demonstrating the capability to utilize a digital twin to test additional capabilities.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with a Bachelors degree; OR 3+ years of experience with a Masters degree. An additional 4 years of experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree
• This position requires the candidate possess a minimum of Top-Secret clearance with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI and pass a polygraph within 30 days of employment or at customers request- contract requires TS/SCI with poly. The candidate must maintain the clearance.
• Experience developing and supporting system engineering processes across the entire system lifecycle to include the analysis, planning, design, development, deployment, integration, test, or configuration of software.
• Expertise utilizing the Cameo System Modeler suite of tools

Desired Qualifications:

• MBSE certifications (i.e. OMG System Modeller)

Details

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
