DXA / Multi-Modality Technologist – Outpatient | Reston-Herndon, VA | Weekdays Only | Sign-on Bonus

Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a DXA / Multi-Modality Technologist to join our Reston-Herndon Imaging Center.

In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality patient care through DXA scanning and diagnostic imaging, with the opportunity to cross-train in mammography. Your professionalism, empathy, and technical expertise help ensure every patient has a positive experience, even in moments of uncertainty.

About the Role
This is a full-time, benefitted position. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. There are no weekends, holidays, or call. Free on-site parking is available. Ask about eligibility for a sign-on bonus!

What You’ll Do

• Perform screening and diagnostic DXA scans

• Independently perform mammography exams (or cross-train into mammography if not yet certified)

• Consistently produce accurate, high-quality images following clinical protocols

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy

• Maintain accurate documentation in PACS/RIS and collaborate with radiologists and team members

What You’ll Bring

• ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R])

• Active Virginia RT license

• BLS certification

• Mammography experience preferred, with opportunity for cross-training in mammography and DXA

• Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach
